World Health Day specially talk to Dr. Renu Makwana

It is said that good Health provides better capabilities to work as per the requirements of the growing World and hence is very important. World Health Organization (WHO)’s foundation was laid on the principle that all humans realize their right to the highest possible level of health. A slogan of “Health for all” is for more than seven decades old and works as a guiding vision.

World Health Day is celebrated annually on April 7th. It is a day for awareness and action to improve the health of the world by focusing on one of the most pressing global issues: non-communicable diseases.

The World Health Organization (WHO) created World Health Day in 1992 to commemorate the founding of WHO in 1948. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Depression: Let's Talk”.

The theme focuses on depression, which affects more than 300 million people worldwide, and how it can be prevented or treated. The campaign will highlight how people can recognize depression and find help, as well as how they can help others with depression by being supportive and encouraging them to seek treatment.
